Mr. Fox started practising Taekwon-Do in Galway in 1993 under Master Howard (then 4th degree) and Master Mark O'Donnell (then 2nd degree). He was one of the first members the Galway Taekwon-Do school to achieve black belt level. Mr. Fox trained and assisted in the Galway school until 2003. After a 2 year break he came back to the Galway Taekwon-Do school and after a year moved to Dublin where he started training with Senior Master Howard, where he now trains and teaches the children's classes. Mr. Fox has represented Ireland on various occasions as an individual competitor, member and captain (2007) of the Irish team, at European and World Championships, some of the highlights of which are winning an individual silver medal in individual power at the European Championships in Spain in 2001and a bronze in team patterns in the European Championships in Estonia in 2007. He was also a member of the Irish Demonstration Team for the Ireland v USA competition in 1998, under Master Liam Dandy. This was a special occasion for Mr. Fox as it was the first time wear the Irish Flag on his dobok, and it allowed his be on a team with his instructor, Master Howard.
